I am completely spoiled when it comes to paying my bills. Almost all of them are set to autopay so that no matter what I am doing (traveling, writing a QuickStudy guide, or working with a project rollout), I don’t have to worry about getting my payments in on time.
Keeping up with your clients and prospects on a regular basis is really a lot like having your bills on the autopay feature. If you don’t keep up the communication, the recipients may decide to take their business elsewhere (though your clients may be more understanding than your phone company).
With the concept of Drip Marketing, you can create your messages ahead of time and either remember to send them out every other Tuesday or you can automate the process and post-date the delivery date. There is on-line software to help you schedule your client and prospect communications (kind of like autopay) into a steady drip of information on a planned schedule.
This automated method is how I distribute our ACT! by Sage tips newsletters now. When you sign up for my bi-monthly tips, you are added to an automated list that sends out a tip every 2 weeks, regardless of what I am doing.
So just like my bill paying, I have automated my ACT! Tips E-newsletter delivery. The former keeps my credit rating up, while I hope the latter is raising my stock with my clients as well.
